The Council of Patrons of Hearts of Oak has extended the mandate of the E.M. Commodore Mensah-led board of directors until the end of May 2010.
Numerous supporters of the club opposed the stay of the board in office and requested for a new board to be elected into office at the club’s congress.
The Communications Director of the National Chapters Committee of Hearts of Oak, Kwame Agyapong, has described the board’s stay in office as against the club’s constitution.
