The Joy FM’s award-winning midmorning show, Cosmopolitan Mix will be having its second workout session on Saturday, August 24 as part of its weight loss journey.
The event which takes place at the Labadi Beach Hotel at 6:00 am comes on after organisers had several calls from participants of the last session for another workout hours.
This time around, the event coordinated by Ascent Ghana will have gospel singer Celestine Donkor and Joy FM’s Drive Time host, Lexis Bill participating alongside Naa Ashorkor, Mamavi Aboagye, Edem Knight-Tay and other celebrities.
Ascent is a fitness team which organises the only 5km-long obstacle course race in Ghana.
The trainers at Ascent take trainees through a series of gruelling physical feats which are modelled for military training and testing the body and mind.
After passing the midway mark of the Cosmopolitan Mix weight loss challenge, participants are readying up to go through possibly some of the toughest challenges since their weight loss journey began on August 1.
The training from Ascent would be complemented by sessions from the weight-loss coaches, Clinical Biochemist, Ada Enwere and Certified Wellness Consultant, Clifford Ladzekpo.
