On August 6, 2021, the Energy Minister, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh accused some staff of the Petroleum Commission of leaking information to some players in the sector.
The Minister indicated that these persons are in turn using the information against the government.
In reporting on the issue, JOYNEWS inadvertently mentioned the Energy Commission, instead of the Petroleum Commission.
JOYNEWS hereby corrects this inadvertent misrepresentation.
