Member of Parliament for Kwabre East in the Ashanti Region is unhappy with the level of compliance directed towards government's directives in the area.
This according to Francisca Oteng Mensah, is a drawback to the fight against Covid-19, amid growing confirmed cases in the country.
"The level of compliance with the directive by residents leaves much to be desired."
Sh advised the constituents to adhere fully to health protocols recommended by the Ghana Health Services and other health authorities including the World Health Organisation.
Since the announcement of a lockdown to curb the spread of the virus, the MP has been supporting various groups and individuals with food and sanitary materials.
She wants public attitudes and actions towards the coronavirus and government mitigation measures to change for the better.
An estimated 5, 000 people are expected to receive packages including rice, cooking oil and hand sanitizers, as the country continues to battle the scourge.
This follows a similar act of kindness at the Municipal Health Directorate on Thursday, April 9, 2020.
She presented personal protective equipment, hand sanitizers, and Veronica buckets as part of her contributions toward the fight against Covid-19.
Municipal Chief Executive of Kwabre East, Nana Osei Assibey Bonsu expressed gratitude to the legislator for the gesture.
