Ghana’s leading radio station Joy 99.7 FM will tonight kickstart ‘Battleground’, one of its politically engaging election shows as the December polls beckons.
'Battleground' brings to listeners an in-depth analysis of the most keenly contested constituencies across the country.
Hosted by Joy News anchor Emefa Apawu, it takes a look at the history of some of the constituencies, an in depth look at the political parties' as well as the parliamentary candidates' chances and project into the future.
It also speaks to issues on the ground with a focus on which candidates are winning the electorates' approval and who are swimming against the violent tides.
And of course, it speaks to the electorates who are at the center of the election to bring their views to the parties and candidates.
The hour-long programme which airs every Thursday from 7 p.m – 8 p.m premieres tonight with the hotly contested Adentan Constituency in Accra, put under the microscope.
