Dreams FC coach CK Akonnour is satisfied with his side’s output despite losing 2-1 to Hearts of Oak in a preseason friendly.
Captain Leonard Owusu, saw his goal sandwiched in between strikes from Eric Kumi and Mustapha Essuman, got the consolation goal for the new entrants.
The result spoilt the party for Dreams who were recommissioning the Dawu Park but for head coach Akonnour, there are more positives to be taken out of the fixture with the Phobians
“I’m satisfied, I’m very happy with where we are. The test for us was very good for us and we are looking forward to the coming matches,” he told Adom FM Sports.
“We were able to possess and pass the ball that’s very key for and so I’m very happy with our performance.”
“It’s a friendly match for us but we recognize Hearts as a very big team irrespective of what’s happening now,” Akonnour added.
“It was a very good test for us to see to our young players who have less experience in the league.”
Akonnour first test in the league with Dreams will be a tricky fixture away to Dwarfs in Cape Coast.
