Ghana’s veteran Gospel musician, Cindy Thompson on Sunday, August 11, hinted at the release of her latest song.
Cindy, who is now known as Mrs. Cindy Thompson Quainoo disclosed this at a party to mark her 50th birthday at the A and H Hotel at East Legon in Accra.
The private party was limited to close associates, family and church members.
Early in the day, the Gospel songstress known for songs like 'Ewuradi Kasa' and 'Dromo' together with friends and loved ones held a thanksgiving service at an Assemblies of God Church in Dansoman.

Cindy arrived at the party with her husband Mr Quainoo and members of her Gospel Band. Her hit songs were played at the party as patrons danced and sang along.
A birthday cake, decorated with her portrait was cut and soon after that she and her husband took the dancing floor.
Cindy was thrilled during the optional speech time when an ardent fan gave a touching testimony on how she used her hit song Ewuradi Kasa in prayers that redeemed her from the afflictions she was going through in her marriage.

Nana Asantewa Effah, a retired employee of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) said she found herself in a very difficult situation that made her doubt God's existence, but her constant use of the song in her daily prayers backed by strong faith got her results.
She said 'Ewuradi Kasa' is a prophetic song suitable for various prayer topics in times of crisis.
In an interview with Myjoyonline, Cindy thanked her fans for the love they have displayed towards her and the prayer support.
According to the songstress, all is set for the release of her latest song which will be out in a few months.

Concerning why she doesn’t do regular releases like her colleagues, Cindy said her fans always expect spirit-filled songs from her and for that matter, she takes her time to pray to God for revelation to meet the spiritual needs of her fans.
She therefore advised young Gospel musicians to be in close relations with God to guide them in their music career and not allow themselves to be swayed to miss their path when their fans heap praises on them.
"In a situation like that we become too excited and forget our God in the process thus making it easy to fall into temptations” she noted.
She explained that the testimony from her fan confirms the purpose for which God revealed the song to her, stating that it's a promise to come through.
