Christians in the country have been asked to be more committed to their faith in order to win more souls for Christ.
Apostle George Kofi Narh, Ejisu-Konongo Area Head of the Church of Pentecost, made the call when he laid the foundation stone for the construction of a Mission House for the church at Ejisu at the weekend.
He said the time has come for Christians to stand up to defend their faith by practicing the deeds Christ gave to them as the devil is now hunting for more souls.
Apostle Narh was unhappy about the way some Christians turned away from Christ the giver of life to follow "stomach" pastors for unrealistic miracles and advised them to desist from it since no one can worship two masters.
He entreated Christians to use their life to show their commitment to God by taking active part in any communal work, which would take place in their communities.
He said the church has spent over 395 million cedis on the project out of the estimated cost of one billion cedis and appealed to the well to do in the church to help complete the project on time.
Mr Solomon Asiedu, Ejisu-Juaben District Coordinating Director, who donated one million cedis to support the project, urged the church to document their lands to protect any future encroachment.
