Advocates for child protection are intensifying advocacy aimed at offering support for distressed families who abandon their children due to a myriad of issues including poverty and mental health issues.
They maintain stable homes and resort to better child care, leading to a healthier future for the country.
They were speaking at a child protection conference where there were deliberations on how best to take care of vulnerable children in society.
