Chieftaincy conflict in the Bawku township has been extended to the Bawku Secondary School creating tension in the school.
The chieftaincy conflict in the Bawku township has been extended to the Bawku Secondary School.
Report reaching Joy News have indicated that some Mamaprusis and Kusasis students in the school last Saturday engaged themselves in a battle off the school campus.
At the moment tension has mounted up at the school’s campus resulting in the total desertion of one of the houses in the school, Gabby House, where the rival factions are mostly based.
Though the matter has been reported to the school’s authority, nothing has been done on it.
Some teachers of the school have already threatened not to go to the classroom to teach if security is improved on the school campus.
CPP’s Regioal Youth Organiser, Mohammed Akunde is a mathematic and physics teacher in the school and has called for immediate action to be taken.
