Barimah Asare Oduro II, Chief of Adeiso in the West Akim Municipality, has appealed to the Ministry of Roads and Highways, to rehabilitate roads at Adeiso and its surrounding communities.
He made the appeal after inspecting a number of roads in the area that are in bad shape.
Barimah Asare Oduro said his people, most of whom are farmers, could cart their farm produce to marketing centres because the roads had been destroyed by the recent heavy rains.
He mentioned some of the communities as Asare, Oden, Domponiase, Musa, Adu Kofi, Afabeng, Odumkyere Darmang, Sukuru Kenna, Asukyeremah and Bepoase.
Barimah Asare Oduro said the situation was affecting the economic fortunes of the people and appealed to the government to rehabilitate the roads.
