Premier League side Chelsea have become the latest club to show interest in Ghana international Mohammed Kudus.
According to the Athletic, Mauricio Pochettino would like to add the versatile player to his squad for the 2023/24 season.
Though the Premier League side are yet to table an official offer to Ajax regarding the player, they are reported to have been in talks with the 22-year-old over personal terms.
Kudus has been heavily linked with a move away from Ajax this summer with Arsenal, Brighton and Hove Albion as well Manchester United all registering interest.
Ajax manager Maurice Steijn revealed they would want to keep the player for another season.
"I feel that when Kudus decides to stay for one more year, the real top clubs will then come for him," he said.
"If we win the league and he scores 20 goals, clubs will pay double for him. This is what we are trying to tell him now."
Kudus scored 11 league goals for Ajax last season and provided three assists in 30 games while also netting four goals in the Champions League.
