The Black Galaxies beat Togo in an international friendly on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, as part of their preparations for the 2024 CHAN qualifier against Nigeria.
Asante Kotoko forward Albert Amoah and Basake Holy Stars' Issah Yakubu were on the scoresheet for Ghana in the 0-2 win.
Amoah opened the scoring in the third minute before Issah doubled the lead in the 27th minute at the Stade de Kegue in Lome, Togo.
The match forms part of preparations for Mas-Ud Didi Dramani's side ahead of the test against West African rivals Nigeria in a two-legged tie.
The first leg of the encounter will take place on Sunday, December 22, in Ghana, before the reverse fixture on Saturday, December 28, 2024, in Nigeria.
Ghana eliminated Nigeria to secure qualification to the last edition of the CHAN tournament in Algeria after a post-match penalty shootout following a 2-2 aggregate scoreline.
