CFAO Mobility Ghana has officially launched the Shacman truck range, adding a new dimension to its brand portfolio in the Ghanaian market.
The launch event took place at CFAO Mobility Ghana’s Tema facility, attracting a diverse audience of customers, industry players, and Shacman representatives. With its rugged design, robust performance, and affordability, the Shacman truck range is set to meet the demands of Ghana's construction, logistics, haulage, and oil and gas sectors.
Speaking at the event, Adedamola Adelabu, Managing Director of CFAO Mobility Ghana, expressed his enthusiasm for the new partnership with Shacman.

The Director of Operations, Yanick Camerman added that Shacman’s integration into CFAO’s truck portfolio brings substantial value, addressing a growing need in Ghana’s heavy-duty vehicle market.
He highlighted the unique role Shacman trucks will play in strengthening CFAO’s offering to industries that rely on high-performance equipment to sustain productivity and growth.
Representing Shacman at the launch were Shawn Shang, Engineer of SHACMAN Ghana, along with Hulk Yang, General Manager; Albert Yang, Sales Manager; Henry Xu, Sales Representative, and Asan He, Engineer.
In his speech, Mr. Shang stated, “Shacman trucks officially entered the Ghanaian market in 2012 and for 12 years it has grown to be the leading brand in Ghana’s heavy truck market with sales expected to exceed 1,500 units this year. With the market share of new trucks about 30%, Shacman, and other Chinese brands should exceed 45% of this figure."
He further added that CFAO Ghana is the first to bring the Shacman H3000S model to the Ghanaian market.
The event also featured a captivating cultural display by an Adowa troupe, celebrating the partnership between CFAO and Shacman with a unique Ghanaian touch.
The formal launch ceremony was led by Mr. Adelabu, Mr. Yanick Camerman (Director of Operations), Mr. Shang, and Mr. George Nyanu, President of the Ghana Truck Drivers Union. Attendees had the opportunity to explore the new Shacman HS3000S model up close, with many admiring its modern design and driver-friendly features.
Mr. Nyanu commented whilst inspecting the truck, "I have used Shacman trucks over the years, but this model’s cockpit feels like that of an airplane—modern, comfortable, with an impressive driver’s sleeping area."
The Shacman HS3000S truck is engineered to handle the tough terrains of Ghana, equipped with a powerful engine, robust chassis, and spacious cabin that enhances driver comfort. Its durability, fuel efficiency, and adaptability to various cargo needs make it ideal for Ghana’s industrial sectors.

- The H3000S suspension dampers have been tuned and optimized by the
professional team at ZF to enhance the overall vehicle smoothness, ensuring a stable and comfortable ride. - The transmission features shift assistance, providing a responsive gear shift
for a more comfortable driving experience. - The Weichai engine, paired with the Fast Gear transmission and Hande axle,
forms a golden power combination that has won the National Science and
Technology Invention Award. This setup offers high transmission efficiency and extended maintenance intervals.
