Highlife legend Daddy Lumba turned 56 on Tuesday, September 29, and fans have taken to social media to pay tribute to him.
In an exclusive video, many including celebrities including King Promise, Fameye and Kuami Eugene sang to the artiste.
They also prayed for God’s blessings for the ace musician and producer.
Others, who joined the celebration list, included actor Prince David Osei, Akwaboah Jnr and Borax, the rapper who collaborated with Daddy Lumba on his ‘Asei Ho’ hit song.
Rapper Kojo Cue wrote on Twitter that he was marking the artiste's birthday with "Makra Mo & Ankwannoma on repeat."
Some Ghanaians also shared throwback photos of the artiste praising not only his music but his style.
One twitter user pulled an old cassette of with Daddy Lumba's songs with the caption "spent a greater part of ma childhood with this album.. I could sing all the tracks on it. Afe Hyia Pa Daddy Lumba THE G.O.A.T..case closed #DL."
