My mother….surely it won’t take much for anyone on the street to recite what their mothers have done for them, nine months of labour and much more, but if I may ask; could mother have experienced all the blessings without father? It is uncommon for many fathers to feel left out and unappreciated on father’s day because comparatively, mother’s day is widely acclaimed and most celebrated than father’s day. Surely fathers deserve more for their pioneering role in the birth process, resultant stresses in shouldering the hefty responsibility of caring for a wife, children, and family.
