The H4P (Here for Perfection) Organisation, a Non-Government Organization (NGO) in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations, believes in the maxim that “the greatest form of significance is exhibited when you impact the world with your small world”.

For more than a decade, the H4P Organization under the able leadership of its founder and CEO, Bishop Dr. Charles Cofie Hackman has sought to impact the world by embarking on several projects and initiatives aimed at promoting the fundamental human rights and privileges of Persons with Disability (PWDs) thereby bringing dignity to disability.

One of such initiatives is the H4P Celebration of Love Projects which spread love to Special Schools and Centres through the organization of free medical screenings, donations, the recognition of hardworking staff and the distribution of gifts to the students, teaching and non-teaching staff.

The H4P Organization’s Celebration of Love projects are held to honour and celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Christina Anansiwa Hackman, mother of Bishop Dr. Charles Cofie Hackman, a chief patron of the H4P Organization and brain behind several H4P projects and initiatives.

Last year, the Celebration of Love Project was organised in three institutions; the Dr. Seth Tetteh-Ocloo State School for the Deaf at Adjei-Kojo in the Tema West Municipality, The With God Cerebral Palsy Centre – Centre of Abilities,  Winneba and Akropong School for the Blind.

This year, the Celebration of Love took place at the Cape Coast School for the Deaf and Blind on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 where love and joy were brought to over five hundred participants of the event.

The event kick-started with the medical team from various health facilities offering  free medical screenings to the special students, teaching and non-teaching staff comprising of general screening, ENT Assessment, Dental Screening and Cleaning, Malaria and Glucose testing as well as Eye Screening (by Permeff Eye Care).

The language of love, it is said, is giving and as such the H4P Organization made a donation of assorted medication to the School Clinic and furniture for the Head Master’s office. Everyone enjoyed from H4P’s generosity when gifts were given to the school heads, teaching and non-teaching staff, caregivers and students of the school.

Three (3) staff of the school distinguished themselves by being recipients of Bishop’s Special Awards to honour the hardworking staff of the school.

These were Mr Yusif Ibrahim, a dedicated security personnel due for retirement next year, Mr.  Nixon Okyere – a senior housemaster who has worked in the school for over 15 years and Madam Lydia Asante - the Assistant Head in charge of academics who has worked in the school for over 20 years.  They received cash prizes and assorted gift items.

The Cape Coast School for the Deaf and Blind was established 54 years ago, in 1970, initially as a School for the Deaf. In 2001, the Unit for the Blind was incorporated into the school to cater for the visually impaired children in the region. The school currently has a student population of about 450 and a staff strength of 95.

The Celebration of Love is the second project the school has benefited from the H4P Organization as it has been a participant of H4P’s National Interschools Disability Fungames.

Mr. Abraham Annang Yemoson, Head Master of the school was amazed and ecstatic by the helping hand offered to the school on such a massive scale which he referred to as “unprecedented”.  He expressed his gratitude to Bishop Dr. Charles Cofie Hackman and the H4P Organization for the great demonstration of love.

Guests present at the ceremony included Nana George Frimpong, Former GFD Central Region President (Special Guest of Honour), Ebo Halm, Social Services Cape Coast Municipal Assembly, Michael Ocran - GFD Central Regional president, Suzy Holdbrook, Headmistress, Ghana National Basic School ( An Inclusive facility), Mary Osei, Headmistress of Yeryerkur school for children with autism and cerebral palsy, Mustapha Okine, Metro Director, Department of Social Welfare, Madam Salamatu, Metro Coordinator, Special Education Department, Madam Mary Baidoo, Ghana National Coalition of Education of Children – Children with visual impairment amongst others.
