Cameroon's sports minister, Michel Zoah, has confirmed the appointment of former Paris Saint-Germain coach, Paul Le Guen, as the country's new coach.
The sports minister also disclosed that the French man will arrive Cameroon's capital city Yaounde on July 25 to finalise his contract.
The former Lyon coach confirmed to Radio France International (RFI) that he has agreed on principle to take charge of the World Cup campaign of the Indomitable Lions.
Favourites in Group One of the qualifying series for the 2010 World Cup, Cameroon are bottom of the standings with a point after two matches.
Le Guen will replace caretaker coach, Thomas Nkono, who took over when the German Otto Pfister quit his post last month.
