Cameroon coach Hugo Broos believes careful scrutiny of the Ghana team was the reason behind his side’s triumph over Ghana in the AFCON semifinal.
Two goals in the last 20 minutes from Michael Ngadeu-Ngadjui and Christian Bassogog were enough to seal an AFCON final berth for Cameroon since 2008.
And Hugo Broos has disclosed the monotonous nature of Ghana's tactics was the key factor for their victory.
"I’m very happy and so are the players," Broos told the media.
"I hope this is not a dream. Ghana is good team, and more experienced than us. It is a good thing for this generation.
"Ghana relies on the vertical passes, usually from the two central midfielders and two central defenders, and we had to avoid them doing that.
"We scored at the good moment. The most important thing was that the team followed the tactical instructions."
Ghana will have to wait for two more years to end their wait for a title.
