Speaking to Joy Business after the exercise, Head of Risk Management of CalBank, Saddick Arthur explained that the bank will continue to put in measures to ensure the maximum protection of customers’ interests.
“The essence of this exercise is to protect lives and property. Our customers are our key stakeholders and we want to ensure that in such an unlikely situation, all our customers are safe and their investments are also safe“.
The Branch Manager of the Derby Avenue Branch, Alberta Taylor said the drill was essential considering the fact that the bank is located in the central business district of Accra.
