Ampem Darkoa Ladies head coach, Joe Nana Adarkwa, after the gratifying win against the defending champions of the CAF Women's Champions League, ASFAR Club, says his side will look to avoid the mistakes made in their next game.
The gaffer admitted his side committed some unpardonable blunders in their first game in the competition against their Moroccan opponents, and he is working on them to ensure they don't come to bite them.
The Ghana Women's Premier League champions will take on AS Mande at Stade Laurent Pokou on Thursday night, and Adarkwa is confident of minimal mistakes and another win.
"We were almost written off in that game on Monday against ASFAR, but we fought through and got that win," he explained.
"I also realised there were a number of mistakes during our first half play especially, and we are working towards that so we do not repeat them."
The Black Princesses' assistant coach also believes the win against the defending champions has set the tone for two more victories against AS Mande and Hurricanes FC to be able to advance to the next stage of the competition.
Ampem Darkoa sit top of Group B with three points after the first round of games.
