The confederation of African football (CAF) has appointed Egyptian officials for the last eight tie between Hearts of Oak and Esperance in Tunisia.
The centre referee, Ghead Greisha will be flanked by compatriot duo of Waleed Ahmed Ali and Berme O’ Michel.
The controversial Egyptian official, Ghead Greisha was sent packing by CAF after awarding a dubious penalty for Zambia against Nigeria at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Esperance heads into the fixture on the back of a painful 1-0 at the hands of champions elect in the Tunisian Proffessionele.
Hearts of Oak will need to put up a good fight in Tunisia in honour of their departed former trainer, Sir Jones Attuquafio, who died in the early hours of Tuesday, May 12, 2015.
Meanwhile, midfielder Emmanuel Hayford, striker Sealssie Adjei will all miss the cash in Tunisia. The 18-man squad will leave Accra on Wednesday with Turkish Arlines to Istanbul before connecting to Tunisia.
