FC Samartex will play their home matches in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League at the Accra Sports Stadium following approval by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The Samreboi-based side hosted last season's Premier League games at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena, but the venue was not deemed fit for inter-club competitions.
The Timber Giants will take on Victoria United Football Club in the second leg on August 25 in Accra, following the first leg in Cameroon on August 18.
It will be their maiden participation in Africa after winning the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League title.
The Timber Giants have bolstered their squad ahead of the tie with additions including Kofi Agbesimah and Baba Kushibo.
