Medeama completed back to back home wins in the group stage of the CAF Confederations Cup with an entertaining 3-2 win over Congolese giants TP Mazembe.
Akwasi Donsu struck with virtually the last kick of the game to earn the Ghanaian FA Cup holders all three points after they let a two goal lead slip.
Enoch Atta Agyei opened the scoring with a freekick before Moses Sarpong converted a free kick as the Tarkwa side were coasting to victory but a quickfire from Jonathan Bolingi Mpangi and Rainford Kalaba levelled the tie.
It seemed all doom and gloom for the Ghanaians but Donsu popped up in the box to fire home the winner and keep Medeama in the hunt for a semifinal slot.
Qualification is not yet sealed as the Yellow and Mauves must strive hard to at least endure a point against MO Bejaia in Algeria in a fortnight to seal qualification.
For now, they can savor the victory over one of the elite clubs on the continent.
