Brittin Industries has launched an ultra-modern glass processing factory at Oyarifa to manufacture, sell and install high-quality glass and façade systems.

Brittin Industries is a fully-owned Ghanaian glass and façade company that produces a wide range of high-quality tempered glass, laminated glass, insulated glass, single pane glass systems and curtain wall systems.

They also produce interior and exterior door systems, full-window units, and interior glass partitions for commercial and residential buildings.

The factory is one of the largest in the sub-region that provides cost-effective construction solutions using the latest Computer Numerical Control (CNC) precise cutting machines to produce products that meet international standards.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the factory, the Managing Director of Brittin Industries, Didier Ireke, expressed the need for businesses to understand the unique needs of their customers to effectively and efficiently serve them in an ever-changing environment.

“We understand that the needs of each project are unique, so we have dedicated staff that will work with you to choose the right solutions to meet your project specifications.”

“At Brittin, we are on a journey to build a team of professionals to support the development of the next generation of sustainable infrastructure to champion Ghana’s economic growth by adhering to international standards that meet the needs of our partners and customers,” he added.

“As an organisation, we believe in gender equality and access to opportunities. It is, however, not surprising that we currently employ about 40% female staff in a largely male-dominated industry. This is our way of contributing to achieving the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 5,” he concluded.

The Deputy Energy Minister, Hon. Andrew Kofi Egyapa Mercer, who commissioned the factory on behalf of the Minister for Trade and Industry, charged the company to leverage the opportunity provided by government to develop products that meet the customer needs.

“The private sector is the key game changer for achieving government’s industrialisation agenda. I hope that the management and board will take advantage of this to unlock the opportunities available”.

“I have a strong conviction that the opening of the factory will also go a long way to address the issue of youth unemployment in Ghana,” he added.

Guests were taken on a tour of the factory to learn firsthand how the company delivers superior glass, accessories and aluminium profiles to customers.

The inauguration was attended by the chiefs and elders of Oyarifa-Teiman, partners of Brittin, policymakers, and other stakeholders.

Brittin Industries is a wholly Ghanaian-owned ultra-modern, technologically advanced glass and façade company producing high-quality aluminium composite panels using the latest Computer Numerical Control (CNC) for building facades located at Accra.
