The one week celebration of the late Brigadier-General (Dr) Daniel Ampadu Twum (Rtd), former Director of Medical Services and Commanding Officer of the 37 Military Hospital, will be held on Thursday August 6, 2009, from 9am - 6pm at his residence – No 2, Asafoatse Afuah Street, West Airport Residential Area, Accra.
The residence is about 200 metres from The African Regent Hotel.
Brig-Gen. Twum passed away on Thursday July 30, 2009 at the 37 Military Hospital after a short illness.
He was 68.
He was the father of Mrs Kristyne Yaa Korang Ofori (nee Twum) and the late Dan Twum Jnr of Origin8 Saatchi & Saatchi and the Unicorn Group, and husband of the late Mrs Gertrude Dede Twum.
He was also the uncle of Mr. Kwasi Twum, CEO of Multimedia Group Limited.
