MTN Ghana CEO Brett Goschen has been re-assigned to the position of CEO of MTN Nigeria.
He replaces Mr. Ahmed Farouk, who has been appointed to the position of Vice President of the Western and Central Africa (WECA) Region of MTN.
Ahmed Farouk was the CEO of Spacefone/Areeba in Ghana before MTN took over and he now replaces Mr. Christian De Faria as Vice President, WECA Region.
A statement signed by Group CEO, Phuthuma F. Nhleko says Brett Goschen will be replaced in Ghana by Mr. Michael Ikpoki, Sales and Distribution Executive of MTN Nigeria.
Brett joined MTN in 2002 as Chief Finance Officer of MTN Nigeria so he is not a stranger to the Nigerian Environment.
This comes at a time when MTN Ghana's subscriber level has hit nine million and the company attributes much of its success in Ghana to Brett’s dynamism.
Adom News is also reliably informed that the MTN Group will soon announce an Indian as the new Chief Marketing Officer.
