The Brand Ghana office is to engage stakeholders from various sectors of the economy on how to better brand the country at a National Identity Summit.
The event, to be held on July 13, will bring together players from corporate Ghana, academia as well as marketing experts on a branding strategy that will be appreciated by all Ghanaians.
Chief Executive of Brand Ghana Mathais Akotia told Joy Business the summit is not going to be yet another talk shop.
He said the summit will bring together key stakeholders who will share ideas on pertinent issues which will lead to the crafting of a brand policy that will project the country.
Branding has become an integral part of development in most countries and could turn around the fortunes of companies and countries if given the desired attention. But some critics believe it is a complete waste of the country’s resources.
