The Board of The Trust Bank, TTB Ghana has been reconstituted by Ecobank. Joy Business has learnt this is part of thetake-over process.
The interim eight member board is chaired by Managing Director of Ecobank Ghana Samuel Ashittey-Adjei. Other persons on the board include the current Managing Director of TTB, Larry Yirenkyi- Boafo and his deputy.
The eight member board has four representatives from ECOBANK and two from TTB. The board is expected to oversee the completion of the take-over process of The Trust Bank by ECOBANK Ghana. Joy Business has also learnt that new owners are hoping to liquidate TTB by July next year.
Meanwhile,ECOBANK Transnational Incorporated, ETI has appointed the current vice president of International Financial Corporation Thierry Tanoh as its new Group Chief Executive. This follows the decision by the current Group Chief, Arnold Ekpe to step down by the end of next year as earlier reported by JOY BUSINESS. The parent bank of ECOBANK Ghana, has also appointed the current group Executive Director of ETI Albert Essien as one of the Deputy Chief Executive officers to Mr. Tanoh
