One of the panellists on the all-male talk show dubbed ‘Bald, Muscled, Potbellied, and Skinny’ (BMPS) has called all rich men who fail to organise extravagant weddings for their partners selfish.
This is in response to a narration by Muscled Oliver of the show on the topic, "How do men feel about extravagant weddings?"
Oliver narrated that he knows a man who is well-to-do. When you go to his house, he has all kinds of lavish cars. He did his wedding with just his family and his wife’s family at his house. They resumed work the following day after the wedding.
This made Oliver regret ever organizing an extravagant wedding for himself 10 years ago when he was getting married.
But, according to Poxieble, only selfish rich men do such things.
According to him, every man is required to meet the demands of his partner in the planning of their wedding.
He explained his point by saying, "you have been with the lady for 10 years. Every 'eating you eat some', then the girl says this is how I want the wedding to be because they are mostly involved in the planning."
"She said she wants something that you know you can do, yet you refuse with the excuse that you want something cool. If you have money and you don’t want to do it, you’re selfish," Poxieble said.
He thinks people who shy away from extravagant weddings are those who are not financially strong.
Meanwhile, is money the major reason why most men shy away from extravagant weddings? If not, what makes men find it difficult to organize such weddings?
Join the host, Kofi Hayford, and his other BMPS guys every Friday at 9 p.m. on Joy Prime as they discuss interesting men's issues.
