The Black Stars will take on second tier side Asokwa Deportivo in a friendly on Wednesday afternoon.
The match is necessary to test the team’s readiness for the Africa cup of Nations clash with Ethiopia.
It will not be the first meeting between two teams as Asokwa Deportivo have often been given the chance to offer stern competition any time they pitch camp in Kumasi preparing for a competitive game.
The last time was in 2013 ahead of World cup play-off against Egypt. They reduced Deportivo to rags beating them 7-1 and went ahead to whitewash the Pharaohs 6-1 to secure qualification to Brazil.
The game will take place at the Baba Yara stadium at 3:00pm
Head coach Kwesi Appiah had 25 players in camp on Tuesday as returnee defender Jerry Akaminko trained for the first time in three years.
All 25 are fit and would seek to impress technical team so they are given the nod on Sunday.
The team have been training in Kumasi since Monday and have received a warm reception from the fans.
