Former Ghana international Baffour Gyan is hopeful the Black Stars will soon get better despite the recent underperformance.
The senior men's national team has struggled in recent times including suffering back-to-back group stage exits from the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon as well as in Cote d'Ivoire.
The team is without a win in their last seven games across all competitions with their last win coming against Central Africa Republic on September 7, 2023, during the qualifiers for the AFCON 2023.
However, changes have been made to the team with Otto Addo returning to the head coach role after the sacking of Chris Hughton.
Despite the optimism, Addo's second coming started with one defeat and a draw during the March international break, losing to Nigeria and drawing with Uganda.
Baffour Gyan, who represented the Black Stars during his career, believes the team will get better with time.
"The Black Stars are in a rebuilding process and it's the hope of every Ghanaian that it goes well," he told Asempa FM on Wednesday, April 3.
"They are putting things together. We are all wishing it goes well and I believe it will."
The next time Ghana will be back in action will be for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers where they face Mali and Central Africa Republic in June.
