Black Stars head coach Otto Addo and two of his assistant coaches, John Paintsil and Fatau Dauda, have survived a horrific accident.
The accident occurred on the Tarkwa-Takoradi road while they were traveling to Accra after watching a match between Ghana Premier League champions FC Samartex and Ghana FA Cup holders Nsoatreman on Saturday, August 31, 2024.
Social media images revealed the extensive damage to their vehicle, with goalkeepers' trainer Fatau Dauda seen walking past the wreckage.
According to commentary captured in the aftermath, likely from Paintsil, the coaches appeared to be unharmed, though a full assessment of any potential injuries will be made later.
