The Black Queens will look to secure a qualification spot in the semi finals of the Africa Women Championship today when they play Cameroon in a Group B match in South Africa.
The Queens picked up three points from their opening match after securing a 2-1 win over Algeria and now need a win over Cameroon to progress.
Cameroon have just one point after drawing 2-2 with reigning champions Equitorial Guinea, and Captain of the Indomitable Lionesses Franciose Bella says her side is keen on beating Ghana to keep their qualification hopes alive.
But, Chairman of the Black Queens Management Committee, Fred Crentsil told Joy Sports the team is well motivated to impress ahead of today’s match.
He said the bonuses of the players had been paid believing that they will motivate the players to beat their Cameroonian counterparts.
Meanwhile, Women’s Football Analyst Rosalind Amoh said she expects a difficult match.
She said the Cameroonians will play their hearts out because their chances of progressing to the next level of the competition will be dimmed should they lose today’s game having drawn their first match.
She expects the Black Queens to maintain their composure and take the game to the Cameroonians.
