The Black Galaxies came from behind to beat Ghana Premier League side, Hearts of Oak in a friendly encounter at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, Prampram.
As they seek to prepare adequately for the 2023 Africa Nations Championship, the home-based team wanted a "good test", having won all four matches against lower-tier sides.
Hearts proved to be a tough nut to crack as they dominated the first half and deservedly took the lead through Amankwah Baafi who cleanly met Salifu Ibrahim's cross.
Annor Walker's side upped their game in the second half and strikes from Bright Adjei and David Abagna - penalty eventually won it for the Galaxies.
They are expected to play a friendly match against a yet-to-be-disclosed opponent on Thursday ahead of the CHAN which starts on January 13, 2023.
Ghana is in Group C where they compete against Madagascar, Sudan, and Morocco.
