Ghana’s U-16 Girls were scintillating in their development tournament clash against Northern Ireland, securing an emphatic 5-0 victory.
The Black Damsels showcased their attacking prowess and tactical discipline, leaving Northern Ireland with no answers throughout the match.
Ghana took control of the game early, with Priscilla Mensah opening the scoring in the 16th minute. Her composure in front of goal was on full display as she slotted home to give Ghana the lead. She doubled her tally in the 26th minute with another well-taken finish, firmly establishing Ghana's dominance.
Seidatu Wahab added her name to the scoresheet with a well-executed goal, extending Ghana's lead to 3-0. The team's cohesion and creativity in the final third proved too much for Northern Ireland to handle.
Daniella Abass put the icing on the cake with Ghana's fifth goal, capping off a brilliant team performance. Her goal highlighted the depth of talent in the Ghanaian squad, as they continued to press and create chances until the final whistle.
