Head coach of the national amputee football team, Isaac Obeng, has named nine Turkey-based players in the 31-man provisional squad for this month’s Tri-Nation competition in England.
Obeng will name the final 18-man squad after assessing the 31 players invited.
Nicknamed the Black Challenge, the team will engage England and Poland as part of preparations towards the Amputee World Cup to be staged in Turkey later this year.
Ghana won the 2021 Amputee AFCON tournament after beating Liberia 3-2 in the finals.
