Former Attorney General and Minister for Justice, Betty Mould-Iddrisu, is currently on a campaign outreach in the Ashanti region, joined by her successor and friend, Marietta Brew.
The two former ministers and prominent members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have been engaging communities in various constituencies, including Offinso North, Kwabre East, Afigya Kwabre South, and Afigya Kwabre North.
Marietta Brew expressed her enthusiasm for the campaign, stating, "I am glad to join Aunty Betty and my colleagues in the NDC to campaign with her and to share John Mahama's vision and good intentions with Ghanaians. This is an invitation we could not miss."
She also highlighted that she has spent a week not only campaigning but also training polling agents.
The group has been promoting key NDC policies, such as the 24-hour economy initiative, and stating the need to vote the NPP out of power to reset the country and make it work again.
Speaking to constituents in the Kwabre South constituency, Betty Mould emphasized the importance of rescuing Ghana and putting it back on the path to progress under John Mahama.
"The progress of this country is non-negotiable in this election, and we have the chance to choose progress over the decay we've seen in the last eight years.
"Ghana will be better with John Mahama, who has done it before, and he'll come and do it again," she stated.
On Saturday, July 13, Marietta Brew and her friends officially kicked off their campaign outreach by joining Vice Presidential candidate Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang for a campaign tour of the Madina market.
Marrieta Brew was accompanied by supporters, including Helgar Boadi, Emeafa Hardcastle, Lawrencia Abena Wurah, and other key volunteers.
