Accra New Town emerged the ultimate winners of the African Games Zongo Football Competition after trouncing Nima 4-0 in the final at the Madina AstroTurf on Sunday, June 12.
The purpose of the competition was to recognise and celebrate Muslim and Zongo communities for their outstanding contribution to the development of sports in Ghana and Africa and also raise awareness ahead of the 2023 African Games.
The competition kicked off on June 11 with the final being played on the 12th of June at the Madina AstroTurf Park.
