Black Queens captain, Adjoa Bayor has been signed up with German side FF USV Jena for the second half of the Women's Bundesliga season.
The move is Bayor's second club outside Ghana after having played in the United States league for FC Indiana during the 2006/07 season.
Bayor, a former African footballer of the year in 2003 who has been part of the Ghana national team since 1997 is expected to boost Jena's position on the table.
Jena are positioned one step above the bottom placed team on the 12-club table with just six points from a possible 30.
"We (FF USV Jena) are very pleased and delighted to announce that we have signed Bayor, a valuable reinforcement for the second round of our campaign," Andrea Altman, Chief Marketing and Public Relations Officer of Jena said in a statement.
The 29 year-old Bayor is expected to make her debut on February 8 against Herforder SV at the University Sports Centre.
