The wife of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Candidate, Samira Bawumia has said that her husband Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has consistently emphasized that every Ghanaian, regardless of political or religious background, deserves a government that works tirelessly for their well-being.
According to her, with a firm belief in fostering national unity, Dr Bawumia has built a reputation on the back of his proven ability to fight corruption, create sustainable job opportunities, and implement impactful policies that promote growth, particularly for the youth.
She noted that his focus on digital transformation and economic development reflects his commitment to ensuring that Ghana remains competitive in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, where technology and innovation are the cornerstones of global progress.
Speaking on Dr Bawumia's vision for Ghana, Samira Bawumia rallied support, particularly from women, recognizing their pivotal role in the upcoming elections. In a message addressed to the women of the Volta Region, during the NPP Regional Women Conference, she expressed admiration for their unwavering dedication and resilience.
"The women of the Volta Region have always been a cornerstone of progress in our political landscape. Your resilience, your commitment, and your tireless work inspire not just me, but countless others across the nation," Samira Bawumia remarked. "Together, with your support, we will not only win this election but pave the way for a stronger, more prosperous Ghana."
Samira Bawumia also acknowledged the instrumental role women play as nurturers, organizers, and advocates for a brighter future, emphasizing their collective power to shape the nation’s path forward. "As women, we hold a special place in the heart of our communities. We are the nurturers, the organizers, and the advocates for a brighter future. I stand with you, knowing that the future we build together will not only benefit our children and families but the entire nation," she added.
Madam Kate Gyenfua, the National Women’s Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), further echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the importance of women's collective strength in securing victory for Dr Bawumia. In a message of solidarity to the women of the Volta Region, Madam Gyenfua underscored the need for unity and mobilization ahead of the elections.
