Ghana defender Abdul Baba Rahman has regained consciousness after an unfortunate incident during a semi-final game in the Greek Cup on Wednesday evening.
The left-back lost consciousness after colliding with an opponent during the fixture between Panathinaikos and PAOK.
An opposing player ran into the head of Rahman during an aerial duel causing the Ghanaian to lose consciousness.
The incident occurred in the 115th minute of the match, which had gone into extra time after a 2-2 tie in regulation time.

Baba was rushed to the hospital after being given first aid at the stadium.

Rahman received rapid medical assistance on the pitch and eventually regained consciousness.
However, as a precaution, he was taken away from the field in an ambulance and is currently receiving additional care in the hospital.
The match was briefly delayed as a result of the incident with the referee eventually ending it and going to a penalty shootout.
Panathinaikos won the shootout 6-5, ensuring their place in the Greek Cup final.
