Ghana midfielder Andre Dede Ayew claims his team mates will not be intimidated by the partisan crowd expected to fill the Estadio de Luanda on Sunday for their quarter-finals clash against Angola.
The home fans have been vociferous and filled the 50,000 seater newly-constructed National Stadium in all three Group A matches at the venue.
A hostile reception for the Ghana players is anticipated on the match as the build-up to the game has been dominated by dirty tricks deployed by Angolan security personnel.
Dede, whose lone goal against Burkina Faso secured a last eight berth for Ghana, believes his colleagues have the experience to neutralize the situation.
"It is going to be a difficult game but we are here to play football and most of the players here now are professionals even though there are a lot of young players and I think the crowd is part of football and is part of the game," Ayew said
"Even you remember well-I wasn't there but I watched on TV when Ghana played against Mali there, we won two-nil and it's nearly the same.
"You will see the crowd pushing, you will see the Angolan players growing wings and flying because as soon as they make an action, the whole stadium will be on fire but it's to up to be patient and follow the coaches strategy."
Ghana must beat Angola to progress to the semi-final stage of the competition.
