The defeated Member of Parliament for the Bawku Central, Mahama Ayarigah, is disputing the parliamentary results in the constituency.
After initial disputes over the result, the ballot boxes were taken to the Upper East Regional capital, Bolgatanga for recounting.
Information later indicated the recount showed Mr. Ayarigah had lost.
But on Tuesday morning, Mr. Ayarigah told Joy FM's Super Morning Show host Kojo Oppong Nrumah he was disputing the results from one polling station.
According to him, his polling agent at the Home Site ‘C’ polling station in the Natinga area in the constituency raised some objections to a number of things he thought were wrong.
He claimed the area is an NPP stronghold and so when his agent was raising issues he was intimidated into submission.
Mr Ayarigah alleged that minors were allowed to vote while others voted more than once citing a case where he said a minor tried to perpetrate double voting and when the police officer tried to arrest him, the people instructed that the boy be released.
At the end of polling, Mr Ayarigah’s agent refused to sign the result but was forced to do so.
At the collation centre, the agent contended that the results for that polling station should not be added to the ballots because he signed under duress.
That, according to Mr. Ayarigah, was corroborated by the police officer and presiding officer of the polling station.
The Bawku Central MP, also alleges that the number of votes declared at the centre exceeded the total number of registered voters for the centre.
He has refused to certify the results and will not tell whether he will go to court.
He wants the votes for the station annulled.
