Former Ghana coach Avram Grant says the team he left is far better than what he came to meet.
Avram took charge of the team in 2014 following Ghana's disastrous campaign at the 2014 World Cup and led Ghana to a second place finish at the 2015 Nations Cup and fourth in the 2017 edition in Gabon.
Many are of the view that he did not make any addition to the team he inherited from Appiah but the former Chelsea trainer insists he built a strong team than what he inherited.
“The team is much better than I received it.
There is a lot of psychology and effort that we put in the team to bring them to the level that they finishing second after Brazil”.
Avram Grant is currently without a job after leaving the Black Stars.
