The Minister of Aviation, Ms Gloria Akuffo, on Thursday returned home after attending the 36th General Assembly meeting of the International Civil Aviation Organization {ICAO), which was held in Montreal, Canada.
Speaking to journalists on arrival, Ms Akuffo said Ghana was re-elected to the ICAO Council at the meeting and this re-affirmed the confidence of the international aviation community in Ghana.
Prior to the 36th General Assembly Meeting, she was also elected to chair the High Level Comprehensive Regional Implementation Plan for Safety in Africa and the Indian Ocean Region.
