Celebrated Ghanaian coach and Champions League winner Cecil Jones Attuquayfio has told Heart of Lions to tread cautiously on their continental debut this weekend in the Caf Champions League.
The Liberty Professionals technical head has advised the club to vary their game plan for the match against Burkinabe Champions Etoile Filante in Saturday first leg preliminary qualifying round match in Ouagadougou.
Attuquayfio who led Hearts of Oak to lift the trophy in 2000, wants the Kpando-based side to be highly tactically and cautious.
" In this international competitions, very team is a master at home but you need to be very careful if you're playing at away and open up a full attack on your opponent for a short time," Attuquayfio told Ghanasoccernet.com
"This approach can unsettle him or either to know exactly what he can do. You then analyse the situation for the first 15 minutes and then you will be able to organize yourself properly.
"So you should go into this game with about two systems of play-first an attacking game and secondly you have to organize your defence and midfield."
Heart of Lions will play the second leg at the Ohene Djan Stadium in a fortnight.
