Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress Prof. John Evans Atta Mills says he will improve access to Senior Secondary Education if given the nod in December.
According to him, 300 new Senior High Schools will be built to augment the number already in existence.
Prof. Mills made the pledge during his door-to-door campaign at the Dome- Kwabenya constituency in Accra on Thursday.
He also promised to put an end to the perennial water shortage that has plagued the area by providing adequate water generating facilities in the area.
With the recent hikes in petroleum prices, Prof. Mills gave the assurance that the NDC will remove all the petroleum taxes to make the price of petroleum products affordable to the poor.
Joy News reporter, Stephen Anti who was on the campaign tour with Prof. Mills says the response from supporters was positive.
