Kwadwo Asamoah will miss Ghana's international friendly against Zambia in London next week and is uncertain for the 2010 World Cup qualifier against Sudan after he was ruled out for one month.
The player injured his left knee on Saturday and will have an operation in Barcelona this week.
Club doctors now say he will be out for a month. It means he will be unable to travel to London for the international friendly against Zambia.
And with Ghana's World Cup qualifier against Sudan only a month away, there is no guarantee he can play in that one too.
He will also miss the start of the Italian Serie A and will sit out of games for Udinese against Parma and Sampdoria.
