AS Police team manager Edward Kit says his side can qualify to the next stage of the CAF Confederation Cup despite their loss to Accra Hearts of Oak.

The Benin league team lost 1-0 to Accra Hearts of Oak at the Accra Stadium in the first leg preliminary round.

AS Police will play host to the Phobians in the return fixture in a fort night and for their team manger, Edward Kit they will beat Hearts in Benin to qualify for the next stage of the competition.

“This is the first time we have played them so when we return we will surely beat them and qualify,” he told Joy Sports

“We had issues with our defense and I can assure you we will sort that out before our next game in two weeks time.

“Our players have assured us that they will definitely pass this stage by beating Hearts in Cotonou.”
